The idea of being the Greatest of all time at something is
quite subjective as it the answer/conclusion may vary from one person to
another. In the world of sports, there are a lot of big names who are used to
having the light regularly shine on them, as well as the underrated athletes
who can give those high stakes players a run for their money.
In Basketball, the consensus agrees that Michael Jordan is
the greatest basketball player to ever grace the NBA. Garnering various awards,
shattering countless records, and setting a standard even the most seasoned
veterans in the field still struggle to chase.
However, another name has come up in the discussion, and
that name is LeBron James. A name that people are going to remember for the
years to come. I’ll be diving deeper in this matter and provide information
that may sky rocket LeBron up to the top spot.
LeBron James has been constantly showing up in the
headlines in the past few years of his wonderful and fruitful career. Having
single-handedly bested the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals with
a superb three from the top of the key. To battling it out with an All-Star
caliber team in the many finals he has made. LeBron has shown consistency in
his performance and quality as a player. There are various showings as to why
LeBron is the greatest if not one of the greatest.
Let us compare the statistics between LeBron James and
Michael Jordan post-season games and let us see who the greatest player of all
time is.
As we see these stats between LeBron James and Micheal
Jordan, it seems that Michael Jordan leads the percentage in points and steals
per game, but in overall LeBron James still leading in overall stats that he
played the entire whole post – season through all the playoffs.
So, the conclusion is that in Michael Jordan’s statistics
in his era and prime was unbelievable, he still the best player but not the
greatest in today’s generation because today’s generation was all about LeBron
James known as “The King”. He will continue to improve his statistics and will continue
to impress, amazed and surprise us of what he can achieve next while he is
still playing in the NBA.
